This was a group of pages called Sell Sheets given to store managers, sometimes in a 3 ring binder or digitally on a CD. They are equivalent to a vendor catalog, also called a dealer catalog, or salesman catalog with manufacturing numbers so store managers could order items to then sell in their stores. All items in this catalog should have a packaging date of 2001, the date on the Barbie box or fashion pack should be 2001 but for items released later in the year they may have a box date of 2002. These are like production, press or prototype information so the actual dolls and fashions sold in store might be slightly different have different colors, etc. This is especially true for the cheaper items and playsets. Special editions and store exclusives not included in the main Mattel Vendor Catalog for the year are often included in sell sheets. Some sell sheets have images or designs of dolls and fashions that are not produced! I have included pages only when the item is not in the main catalog or I think the image shows additional details or a different angle that is useful when identifying dolls, fashions, and playset pieces.
I no longer share catalogs without the website name on them because people posted my images on Facebook and Pinterest without giving me credit. You are welcome to download and repost catalog pages with the barbiereference.com watermark on them. A link back to my website is also appreciated.
