These fashions have Fashion Avenue on the package and copyright year 2002 on their package. Some of These fashions are shown in two German Mattel booklets, 2003 Fall/Winter booklet and 2003 Spring/Summer. These booklets, or mini-catalogues, are usually sold in stores in the magazine section of a store, or included in Barbie doll boxes or fashion packs. They are not as authoritative as Mattel Vendor Catalogs, but they do carry the year and season customers were expected to see the dolls and fashions in stores. For that reason I have included these fashions with the 2003 Fashion Avenue lines, even though the copyright year on their packages are 2002.
These fashions have copyright 2002 on their package. They are not in the German Mattel booklets. They are not listed in the Encyclopedia of Barbie Doll Exclusives book I own. I cannot find information on when it was first sold in stores and it is not included in Mattel Vendor Catalog’s for 2002 or 2003. The fashions shown on back are in my 2003 Mattel Vendor’s Catalog so I am listing with 2003 Fashion Avenue lines.
