The copyright year on this package is 2001. The package is marked as a Toys R Us store exclusive. The 3rd edition of the Encylopedia of Barbie Doll Exclusives book also lists this collection with year 2001. I cannot find any Mattel produced information on when it was first sold in stores and it is not included in Mattel Vendor Catalog’s for 2001 or 2002 so I am listing with 2001 Fashion Avenue. It is common for store exclusive fashions and dolls to have a copyright year the year they are actually first sold. Skipper Prom styles Fashion Avenue line was released only in 2001, and is the only store exclusive line just for Skipper. Each dress comes with a matching corsage.
