In 1998 Mattel continued the Fashion Avenue line names on packaging. The back of the package is similar to 1997’s design but the captions under each photograph is a country name not a season. The inside front background is the same as last years but with more ornate wood shelves. The complete back of package text is “Fashion Avenue Collection Barbie Real Clothes For Barbie doll!
