In 1997 Mattel added Fashion Avenue line names to the packages for Barbie. Ken’s did not have a line name. This year Ken’s tuxedo outfit is included in the Evening Wear line, and it is a repeat from last year. They reissued some of the fashions from 1996 and added new ones.

Item Number 15884 – Black/white suit, glasses, chip art briefcase.
Item Number 15886 – Rugby shirt, khaki pants, blue goggles
Item Number 14676 – Sweater, green corduroy-like pants, black wrap-around sunglasses. (1996 re-issue)
Item Number 14677 – Brown suede-like jacket, denim pants. (1996 re-issue)
Item Number 16389 – Chambray shirt, khaki pants.
Item Number 16390 – Denim jacket.
