The Fashion Avenue line debuted in 1996, the copyright date on packages this year is 1995. There are no line names on packages this year, and a few share the same assortment number. They are pictured in groups in the catalog that are similar to the following years so I have listed them in these groups. The back of the packages have 5 different groupings of Barbie and Ken in a variety of the lines outfits. All in what looks like a museum background with two large pillars. You can see the back of the packages in some of the individual Complete Fashion posts. The inside of the package is cream with a light brown triple arch print that gives a gold tone look. There are two variations, one with printed wood shelves near the top of the arches, and one with two small tables and a wood stand. The accessories, usually purse and shoes, are attached to either the shelves or tables. Two of the Ken fashions have cardboard (also called chip board or paper) accessories.
